How to use the online version
- Tap empty cell: place a cat (wrong placements cost fish tokens)
- Tap a cat again: remove it (locked starter cats stay fixed)
- X mark mode: note cells that cannot hold a cat — free notes
- Hint bulb: reveal one correct cat and mark its blocked cells
- Undo / restart: step back or clear the current level

Is progress saved?
Yes. Progress is stored in browser localStorage. Clearing site data removes it.
What do X marks mean?
Notes for cells where a cat cannot go. They help deduction and do not score wins/losses by themselves.
Does the hint solve the puzzle?
No. Each hint reveals one correct cat and marks its forbidden cells — not a full auto-solve.
