How to solve
- List candidates for each of the 10 colors, then force singletons.
- Update row/column bans after every placement before scanning again.
- Watch corners: cats cannot share an edge or a corner.
- Answer: R1C5, R2C8, R3C2, R4C4, R5C6, R6C9, R7C7, R8C3, R9C1, R10C10.
Tips for this level
- Keep X marks tidy so row and column candidates stay readable.
- Diagonal contact is easy to miss when the board gets crowded.
- If two options remain, case-split briefly and undo when a color dies.
