How to solve
- List candidates for each of the 5 colors, then force singletons.
- Update row/column bans after every placement before scanning again.
- Watch corners: cats cannot share an edge or a corner.
- Answer: R1C1, R2C4, R3C2, R4C5, R5C3.
Tips for this level
- Keep X marks tidy so row and column candidates stay readable.
- Diagonal contact is easy to miss when the board gets crowded.
- If two options remain, case-split briefly and undo when a color dies.
